Liberia (Costa Rica)
Liberia is a city in Costa Rica which is the capital of the Province of Guanacaste. The city of Liberia is 215 km from San José. And that with a population of 34,469 inhabitants. Liberia is a major center of Costa Rican tourism activity. It was nicknamed the White City because of the white gravel that was used to build the city's roads.
History
The modern geography of Liberia was once founded without a legal act by a hermitage. Its strategic location had given it this status. Administratively, the city was separated between Nicaragua and Costa Rica. It is through the years that this status has changed and has given the city a membership in Costa Rica by being the capital of the Province of Guanacaste.
Weather
Liberia has a pleasant temperature all year round. This is one of the reasons that it is highly recommended to spend the holidays there. For humidity, it determines the low and high of the season. Therefore, in April and November, the visit is ideal and therefore more preferable than the other months of the year. In May and October, the rain is more regular therefore not very suitable for outings.
