San Juan
San Juan is the capital city of Puerto Rico. The city is also the most populous municipality in Puerto Rico with 395,326 inhabitants. San Juan is the 46th major city under US jurisdiction. The city was established in 1521 by Spanish settlers. The city is known for its rich architectural history with ancient constructions. The capital is also the largest ancient capital established in Europe and that with Santo Domingo and the Dominican Republic.

The city of San Juan has experienced significant economic growth since World War II. In terms of tourism, technological advances have helped to create airplanes and airports and this has positively influenced the development of this sector in the city of San Juan. Old San Juan
Old San Juan is a neighborhood that is the oldest in San Juan. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. This privilege in terms of discovery means that the district is very visited.
Fort San Filipe Del Morro
It is a 16th century citadel located northeast of the islet of San Juan. The Fort is designed to guard the bay of San Juan and also to defend the city from enemy attacks from the sea. It is a fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a very visited place because of its historical richness. According to statistics two million visitors visit the site each year.
