Trip to Providenciales
Providenciales is an island in the Turks and Caicos archipelago. For a long time, the island of Providenciales remained sparsely inhabited, and this due to the lack of potable water. Currently, with the development of its tourism, the island is populated. It has 32,118 inhabitants over an area of 98 km2. Thus, the island has an international airport to welcome tourists.
History
The Turks and Caicos Islands were discovered in 1512 by a Spaniard named Juan Ponce de Leon. They were inhabited by the Arawaks and the Kalinagos. The islands were officially attached to the Bahamas and then to Jamaica. But after the Bahamas gained independence, the island became a fully-fledged British overseas territory.

In Providenciales, the beaches are the first places to visit. And this is favored by its geographical situation which is very favorable for discoveries and walks on the beach.
Grace Bay Beach
Grace Bay Beach is one of the prettiest beaches in the world. Grace Bay Beach is located in Provideciales Island and offers a marvelous view that will take your breath away. With the culture of the city, which is very famous for its warm hospitality, Grace Bay beach is a must-see.
Long bay beach
Long Bay Beach is also one of the most visited beaches in the Archipelago. It is a 4.48 km beach which is located to the south-east of Provideciales. With sand of perfect consistency, Long Bay beach is very recommended for a walk or activities with family or couples. The Long Bay does not know too many waves and therefore suitable for a good swim.
