What is the Crown & Anchor Society?

The Crown & Anchor Society is Royal Caribbean International's loyalty program. Enrollment is free and points build with every cruise: 1 point per night on board, or 2 points per night in a suite (Junior Suite and above) or single occupancy. Points are not redeemed for cruises: they determine a status, held for life, that unlocks increasingly valuable benefits on board and before departure.

Seasoned cruisers aim above all for Diamond status, where the benefits concretely change the experience: daily drink vouchers, access to the Crown Lounge and enhanced stateroom discounts. Here are the program levels:

LevelPoints requiredBenefit highlights
Gold3Onboard savings, member-only offers
Platinum30Balcony and suite discounts, priority boarding
Emerald55Enhanced discounts, exclusive reception
Diamond80Daily drink vouchers, Crown Lounge access
Diamond Plus175Additional vouchers, behind-the-scenes tours, upgrade priority
Pinnacle Club700The summit of the program: lifetime recognition and privileges

Benefits by level are set by Royal Caribbean and may change; your advisor can confirm current details.

How many points does this promotion really earn?

The math is simple: everything doubles. A 7-night cruise in an interior, ocean-view or balcony stateroom earns 14 points instead of 7. The same week in a junior suite or above earns 28 points instead of 14, since the suite bonus doubles too.

And because the offer covers up to two cruises, a member who books a southern getaway in January and a family spring-break cruise, both 7 nights in suites, walks away with 56 points. Normally, it would take four identical cruises to build that total.

A concrete example: a Platinum member with 45 points books 7 nights in a junior suite during the promotion. Those 28 points move them straight to Emerald, just 7 points from Diamond. A second booking during the window, even in a standard stateroom, gets them over that line. Years of accumulation, condensed into a single winter.

The conditions to know before booking

Three pitfalls come up often, and they are all resolved before the booking rather than after. First, the Crown & Anchor number must be on the file from the moment the booking is created: adding it later can change the fare or remove the offer. Second, transatlantic and transpacific crossings are excluded, as are travel agent rates, seminars at sea and casino bookings. Finally, a points transfer request under the Points Choice program cancels the offer's bonus points — an important detail for members who share points with a spouse.

The offer applies to new bookings only. An existing file cannot be converted automatically; in some cases a new booking can be worth it, but the full math has to be done, because the original fare can be lost. That is exactly the kind of judgment call an advisor makes in minutes.

How to take advantage of the offer in three steps

Step one: find your Crown & Anchor number, or let your advisor do it for you — enrollment is free if you don't have one. Step two: choose your cruise among eligible sailings between September 2026 and April 2027; the Caribbean in the middle of a Quebec winter and spring break are natural picks. Step three: book before July 31, 2026 with the number on file, with a deposit that locks in the fare. The trip details can be fine-tuned afterwards.

The price does not change during the promotion: the offer combines with regular individual and group rate programs, so the doubled points come on top of the best eligible fare. Booking through an advisor costs nothing more and adds protection: Voyages AquaTerra holds a permit from Quebec's Office de la protection du consommateur and its clients are covered by the FICAV compensation fund.

The window closes on July 31, 2026
