Costa Magica was sold to Seajets in February 2023. Costa Luminosa went to Carnival Cruise Line in 2022, Costa neoRiviera to AIDA in 2019, and both Costa Atlantica and Costa Mediterranea to Chinese operators. A warning before booking Costa Fortuna

Costa has announced that Costa Fortuna, the oldest ship in its fleet, leaves that fleet in September 2026, and that Costa Serena takes over her South American itineraries. Our calendar nevertheless carries 38 departures for that ship after 30 September 2026, up to 18 September 2027. We do not know whether they will be cancelled, moved to another ship or kept in some other form, and we will not guess on your behalf. Have the departure confirmed by your advisor before paying anything. We would rather tell you here than let you find out afterwards.

The ships that work

Costa Smeralda leads with 401 records, ahead of Costa Pacifica with 364, Costa Toscana with 348 and Costa Fascinosa with 295. Smeralda and Toscana run on liquefied natural gas: they are the two newest in the fleet, and the two carrying the most departures with us.
