Celebrity Cruises: 19 entries, 1,170 departures, and four ships no longer in the fleet
Nineteen entries in our inventory, 1,170 distinct departures across 494 dates and 577 routes, from 23 July 2026 to 31 December 2028. Celebrity Reflection leads with 154 departures, ahead of Celebrity Flora at 120, Celebrity Beyond at 86 and Celebrity XCEL at 80.
Four entries with no departure
These are ships that have left the fleet, and that our inventory has not yet removed. Celebrity Century was sold in 2015 and sails today under another brand. The three Galápagos ships — Xpedition, Xploration and Xperience — were sold, the first two to an expedition line in early 2025, the third back in late 2020. That is a fault on our side, flagged for correction, and better written down than left sitting on a page claiming to describe a fleet.
The Galápagos means one ship
Celebrity Flora, purpose-built for the archipelago and delivered in 2019. A hundred guests, and a dynamic positioning system that spares her dropping anchor on the seabed — a technical detail that concretely protects the coral. She carries 120 departures with us, which is a lot for a ship that size, and a hundred berths go fast. She is the line's furthest-ahead booking of all.
"All Included" no longer includes gratuities
It is the most common selling trap with this line. The fare programme still carries the same name, but since 4 October 2023 gratuities are no longer included. What remains is the basic drinks package and basic Wi-Fi; suites receive an upgraded package and onboard credit. Not covered: daily gratuities, specialty restaurants, excursions and the spa. If someone told you gratuities were included, their information predates that date.
The Infinite Veranda is not a balcony
On the newest class it is a powered glass wall that opens inside the cabin, not a separate outdoor space. You cannot step out onto your balcony while the other person stays cool, and the wall stays shut in bad weather. Many guests love it; those expecting a real balcony are disappointed. It settles in one sentence at booking.
The newest ship, and accessibility
Celebrity XCEL was delivered on 23 October 2025 at Saint-Nazaire, fifth of her class and the first in the fleet able to burn methanol; the next is not expected before 2028. On accessibility this is one of the best-documented fleets in our catalogue: accessible cabins, a request form to complete before sailing, a dedicated desk. The line also states its limits, which is more useful than a vague promise — its staff can help with a manual wheelchair, a walker or a cane, but can neither lift a guest nor their equipment, and nine tender ports pose difficulties.
