Description
In March, when Quebec is still torn between snow and slush, the MSC World America leaves Miami at the end of the day. Launched in 2025, the ship welcomes more than 6,700 guests, has some thirty restaurants and bars and stretches its World Promenade across several decks. The all-inclusive onboard formula settles drinks, Wi-Fi and gratuities before you even set sail.
The first call is Puerto Plata, on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, between green mountains and golden beaches. The next day, the ship stays in San Juan until 11 p.m., leaving time to walk the cobbled streets of Old San Juan, past yellow, pink and blue facades, up to the ramparts of the fort guarding the bay. After two days at sea, Ocean Cay, MSC's private island in the Bahamas, offers a full day of beach and turquoise water, with its red-and-white lighthouse lit up at night.
A 7-night cruise with flights, a hotel night in Miami and a French-speaking tour guide, including up to $1,700 in onboard privileges.
