In the evening, when the entertainment takes the main lounge, there is still a quiet place to sit. She also belongs to the small group of three-deck ships, and therefore has a lift.
By the rule CroisiEurope publishes, yes: the line fits lifts to its three-deck ships, and the Vivaldi has three. The honest caveat is that her official page does not name the lift, and we do not know whether it reaches the sun deck. If someone in your group cannot manage stairs, that is a point we get confirmed in writing before booking, not an inference we sell you.
From 9 to 13 m², roughly 97 to 140 square feet, and CroisiEurope publishes the figure itself. That is small for a traveller used to ocean cruising. Yes, unlike several ships in the Rhine fleet that still show only 2026. The 2027 Danube season is open, including a Danube New Year on 28 December 2027. One useful detail: the Vivaldi's date-by-date assignment is not fully published, and some itineraries she runs in 2026 change ship in 2027. Book on the itinerary and the date, not on the ship's name.
The 86 cabins sit across three decks in categories A, B and C. CroisiEurope states that category C is "standard or slightly smaller": with a published range of 9 to 13 m², category C sits close to the 9 m² floor. The upper deck gives the best views, the main deck the cabins lowest to the water. Because this ship has a lift, the choice comes down to view and budget rather than stairs.

They are not included. CroisiEurope presents them as a custom left to your judgement, collected at the end of the cruise and shared among the crew, with a published daily per-person guideline. For a couple over eight days that is a budget line to plan for. We give you the current amount at booking.
It is free, in the cabins as well as the public rooms. On the Danube the ship stays within reach of land networks almost continuously, so the connection is steadier than at sea. It is shared among 172 people: fine for email and messaging, uneven for video in the evening. On the Balkan run, coverage becomes patchier downstream of Belgrade.
This is the main risk for this ship, because she sails the Danube exclusively and mostly in late summer and autumn. When the draught no longer clears, the line reshapes the itinerary, replaces a leg with a coach transfer, or moves passengers to another vessel. It is not theoretical: it has happened several times in recent years. CroisiEurope's contract provides for it, travel insurance does too, and we raise it before booking rather than after.
