Several activities of all kinds can complement a stay at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Royal transformation for your little prince or your princess, behind-the-scenes visits to the parks, encounters with elephants, VIP visit to the parks, “After Hours” evenings, safari with the animals, running weekend, the activities are numerous ! In fact, there are so many that it's hard to describe them all to you! But here are some of the more popular ones. Prices may vary as well as availability. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique $ (Disney's Magic Kingdom, Disney Springs and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa) - Where fairy tales come true!

Witness the royal transformation of your princes and princesses, where fairy godmothers transform children into fairy-tale princes or princesses! Kids can choose a hairstyle, add makeup, nail polish, accessories, and a prince or princess costume to complete this royal makeover! Several packages are available and the transformation is aimed at children 3 to 12 years old, accompanied by an adult 18 years old and over.

Behind-the-scenes tours of the parks $

Several backstage tours are available in the parks.

Backstage Magic is a very comprehensive behind-the-scenes tour of the parks. Lasting 7 hours, you will have the chance to discover behind the scenes during this guided tour. From Epcot and the visit to the backstage of American Adventure and its audio-animatronics via Magic Kingdom, where you will discover the legend of the "utilidors", the underground corridors under the park used by the employees, you will learn more on the creation of costumes, shows, sets and the work of many employees.

Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour is a 5 hour tour of Magic Kingdom and its behind the scenes. You will discover the secrets of some of the attractions in the park, you will learn many unknown facts and very interesting details about many aspects of the park, you will enjoy a great dinner and most importantly, you will have the chance to access the passages. underground passages under the park that allow employees to move around and you will discover a whole world under Magic Kingdom!

Epcot Seas Adventures - Aqua Tour will allow you to snorkel in the Wonderful Sea World Aquarium of Caribbean Coral Reef, the 5.7 million gallon artificial saltwater ocean at The Seas with Nemo and Friends Lodge . And if you hold a diver's certificate, you can choose the Epcot Seas Adventures - Dive Quest to fully immerse yourself in Caribbean Coral Reef. If you prefer dolphins, it will also be possible to see them and discover them during your visit to Epcot Seas Adventures - Dolphins in Depth.

If you choose the Wild Africa Trek at Disney's Animal Kingdom, you will get to see the wild animals of the savannah up close. Your private guide will take you on a 3-hour excursion where you will discover the animals of the Safi River Valley and the Harambe Savannah. You will cross a rope bridge over crocodile habitat and ride a jeep through the savannah to see giraffes, rhinos and other animals up close. Your guide will give you lots of details about the animals and their habitats and you can ask all your questions. The safari will end with an excellent gourmet meal overlooking the magnificent savannah. Quite an experience for ages 8 and up, measuring a minimum of 48 inches.

Several other special activities are offered at Disney's Animal Kingdom for animal lovers. Up Close with Rhinos will allow you to meet rhinos up close in an observation area. On this 60-minute adventure, the keepers will share the well-kept secrets about these animals with you and you will go behind the scenes to visit their habitat. Caring for Giants is all about African elephants and you will discover all the care they need to live a healthy life in the park. You will meet specialists who will give you a detailed description of the care provided as well as several anecdotes relating to elephants. You will never have come so close to these giant animals! Finally, Savor the Savana - Evening Safari Experience will take you on an extraordinary safari as the sun sets over the savannah. Board the vehicle for a private expedition into the heart of Harambe Nature Reserve where your guide will tell you the extraordinary stories of all the animals. You will end the evening by tasting African tapas while admiring the setting sun. Other experiences are offered at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to get a closer look at the animals.

Special evenings in the parks $

Some evenings, the parks come alive for special "After Hours" evenings. For Halloween, experience a special night out with the After Hours Boo Bash at Magic Kingdom. In addition to the theme park decor, you can spot appearances of characters wearing special costumes for the occasion, themed merchandise, and you can stock up on candy! This holiday season is Disney's Very Merriest After Hours, a special holiday-themed event featuring character appearances, themed fireworks, delicious treats and more.

Run Disney theme races $

Finally, for running enthusiasts or for all those who want an extraordinary experience, the Run Disney races are themed events for the whole family that combine fun and personal challenge! From the 1 km children's race to the 42 km marathon, the craziest will challenge the Dopey Challenge and run 4 races in 4 days during the Marathon weekend ... 5km, 10km, half-marathon and marathon in order to earn themselves the special medal of the Dopey Challenge!

4 events are held throughout the year: the Marathon weekend in January, the Princesses' race in February, the Springtime Surprise race in the spring and the Food and Wine race in November. Please feel free to visit www.rundisney.com for more information on these themed events.
