Events at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida

Throughout the year, there are several events in the different theme parks. In addition to holidays like Halloween or Christmas, several festivals are held in particular at Epcot.

In January and February we find the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts. Celebrating the arts and cuisine, this bright and colorful festival will allow you to experience the culinary arts with creative versions of bites and drinks, the performing arts with captivating entertainment, the visual arts with a host of artists of all kinds and finally, creative fun for all ages!

From March through early summer, the Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival will fill your eyes with vibrant color with this event showcasing flowers and dining experiences. Topiaries and floral sculptures of your favorite characters, splendid gardens and unique exhibits will delight the whole family. The garden passes to your table with unique food stands, with extraordinary flavors, in addition to numerous shows throughout the World Showcase.

From July to November, the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival offers you a tasting circuit on 6 continents. Taste flavors from around the world with a selection of gourmet dishes offering equally delicious dishes and their alcoholic accompaniments. Not to mention the many shows and family fun for all ages with the Ratatouille treasure hunt and activities for all as well as exclusive event merchandise.

Finally, the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays celebrates the holidays around the world from late November to late December each year. This seasonal festival showcases holiday traditions from 11 World Showcase countries with country food, traditional drinks, delicious cookies and holiday entertainment from around the world! The hugely popular Candlelight Processional rediscovers the history of Christmas with a famous nightly narrator, a 50-piece orchestra and a large choir. Thrills guaranteed!

In the fall, discover the wonders of the season and celebrate Halloween, including the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom ($). In addition to the theme park decor, you may notice appearances of characters wearing special costumes for the occasion, themed merchandise in all of the parks, and fall and Halloween inspired merchandise.

The holiday season kicks off in mid-November and you'll find festive fun all over the Walt Disney World Resort site! Each park is decorated for the occasion and several special activities are held on site.

At Magic Kingdom, celebrate the holidays in a joyful way with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ($), a special event featuring character appearances, themed fireworks, delicious treats and more. Each evening, the Cinderella Castle is also illuminated with thematic projections, the decorations along Main Street will immerse you in the holiday atmosphere, not to mention all the sweets inspired by this period!

At Epcot, in addition to the Festival of the Holidays, take advantage of traditions and decorations from around the world to immerse yourself in the festivities of the World Showcase countries.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, experience Christmas adventures with the Sunset Seasons Greetings, a projection show on the Hollywood Tower Hotel, Santa Claus Motorcade, Santa Claus parading in his convertible on Hollywood Boulevard, not to mention Minnie's Holiday Dine ( $) at Hollywood & Vine, a festive meal featuring Minnie and her friends dressed in their best festive clothes!

Finally, at Disney's Animal Kingdom experience the magic of Christmas with a natural twist featuring animals. Do not miss the festive Santa Claus flotilla that sails on Discovery River, Donald and his friends flotilla or that of Tic and Tac as well as the percussionist group Discovery Island Drummers, which will entertain visitors, not to mention the thematic screenings on the 'tree of Life.

All hotels are also decorated for the period as well as Disney Springs, where a host of holiday-themed activities take place.
