Twenty departures call at Montréal

Start with what matters to a reader here. Of the one hundred and thirty-five itinerary lines on this page, twenty call at Montréal. For a sixty-seven-thousand-ton ship that spends most of her year between New York, Miami, Southampton, Sydney and Singapore, that is a lot. If you want to board without crossing the Atlantic first, those twenty dates are your window.

The ship

Oceania Vista was delivered by Fincantieri, at Sestri Ponente near Genoa, on 1 May 2023. Sixty-seven thousand gross tons, 251 metres by 32, fifteen decks of which eleven are open to guests, 613 cabins across sixteen grades including 149 suites and 444 with balconies. Twelve hundred and eighteen guests to eight hundred crew — a ratio that explains a good part of what you will feel aboard. Her sister, Oceania Allura, was delivered in 2025 and her page is current.

What the fare covers, and what changed

Careful here, because the line changed its scheme and a lot of text in circulation still describes the old one. “Simply MORE” ended on 30 September 2024. It was replaced by “Your World Included” for departures on or after 1 January 2025.

Included today: onboard gratuities, speciality restaurants at no extra charge, in-room dining, unlimited Starlink Wi-Fi, soft drinks, speciality coffees, teas, still and sparkling water, juices, smoothies, ice cream, group fitness classes and laundry. Laundry included, on a fifteen-day voyage, is not nothing.

No longer included automatically: the shore excursion credit and the alcoholic beverage package. Airfare is paid separately. If a text still promises you those two free of charge, it predates October 2024.

What the calendar sells

One hundred and thirty-five itinerary lines, nine of them duplicates: one hundred and twenty-six distinct departures. Sixteen in 2026, fifty-nine in 2027, forty-seven in 2028 and thirteen in 2029. Lengths run from eight to nineteen days, eleven and twelve days coming up seventeen times each. New York appears twenty-two times, Miami thirty-nine in all, Montréal and Southampton twenty each, Sydney sixteen, Singapore twelve.

The line's other ships

Oceania Riviera and Oceania Marina are older and smaller, and their pages carry their own calendars. The the line's own page explains the rest.
