At a piled jetty reaching far out from the shore, an open structure chosen to protect the currents, the seabed and the corals. You reach land along a walkway of about 800 metres above translucent water, then free trams carry you to the heart of the site in about ten minutes.

Yes. Set apart, Serenity Bay offers a beach reserved for adults, with a bar and guaranteed quiet.
Very much so. Rush Out Gush Out, the carnival-coloured splash area with its slides, fountains and water drums, and the supervised Sebastian's Cove club for younger children keep them busy all day. The water at the family beach is shallow.
More than on the other private islands. Between the roughly 800-metre arrival walkway and the tram stops, bring proper sandals. The approach does set the mood, though: rays and turtles are visible from the walkway.
