Description
Three cities, two Irelands and two train journeys. Dublin opens the trip with its Georgian squares, Trinity College and Christ Church Cathedral, built by a Viking king in 1030. The train then heads north to Belfast, where St George's Market has welcomed traders since 1604 and St Anne's Cathedral watches over the city's liveliest quarter. A free day lets you reach the Giant's Causeway.
Heading down to Galway, the coach follows the Wild Atlantic Way through County Donegal and stops in Bundoran, facing the sea, for lunch. Galway, a city of students and street musicians, is explored on foot, from Eyre Square to the Spanish Arch. Connemara and Kylemore Abbey are within reach for those who want more.
The last train ride brings the group back to Dublin for a farewell dinner. Only three hotels, guided tours in every city and plenty of free time to wander, step into a pub or follow your tour escort's advice.
