Fort Lauderdale, Eastern Caribbean

Duration
8 Days
Category
Ocean Cruise
Eastern Caribbean
Date
Saturday March 20 2027

Description

In Grand Turk, the pier opens straight onto the beach. You step off the ship, cross a few metres of sand, and the water is right there, clear to the bottom. The Star Princess stays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., long enough that you don't have to choose between swimming and everything else.

Seven nights in the Eastern Caribbean, leaving from Fort Lauderdale and returning to the same port. Two days at sea leave time to enjoy the ship, and four calls fill the rest of the route: Grand Turk, in the Turks and Caicos; Amber Cove, on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, near Puerto Plata; Celebration Key, the destination Carnival Corporation opened in 2025 on Grand Bahama; and Bimini, the Bahamian island closest to Florida.

The package covers the cruise only: the cabin, all meals on board, the shows and the full activity programme, with cruise fees and government taxes already included in the displayed price. Three cabin categories are held for the group, from ocean view to balcony, and the Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages can be added. To lock in their guaranteed price, contact Catherine Hodgson before October 12, 2026: their price goes up on October 13.

A block of cabins reserved by Voyages Synergia, escorted by Catherine Hodgson and Patrick Lepage. Following a change to Princess Cruises' terms and conditions, for any booking made since September 2, 2026, the deposit is $420 per person, refundable in case of cancellation before the final payment on November 15, 2026. Bookings made before September 2, 2026 keep their final payment date of December 1, 2026.

Synergia network group departures

Advisors in the Voyages Synergia network build their own group departures every year, with limited places. These are trips born of a passion rather than a catalogue: Christmas markets in Europe, the Nile valley, skiing in the Alps. The list above changes with the seasons.

What sets these departures apart

  • A network advisor behind every departure, who knows the product being sold
  • A restricted number of places, often a few dozen, sometimes fewer than ten
  • A clear theme, built around one activity rather than a destination alone
  • Fixed dates: you join the departure, you do not build it

How to book

Each departure has its own responsible advisor. Choose the trip that interests you in the list, then reach us through the contact page for remaining places and terms. These departures often fill months ahead.

Other ways to travel as a group

If no date suits you, two other routes exist: organized trips, already built and sold by tour operators, and a custom group, built around your own participants. Voyages AquaTerra holds Quebec permit 702703.

Frequently Asked Questions

A trip built by an advisor in the Voyages Synergia network, on fixed dates with limited places, usually built around one specific activity. Some departures are escorted by an advisor who travels with the group: this is stated in the departure file.
No. Most participants do not know each other at departure. That is one reason these trips appeal to people travelling alone.
It varies by product, from a few dozen to fewer than ten on the smallest departures. The number is stated in each departure file.
Often yes, several months ahead, because places are limited. It is worth enquiring as soon as a date is announced.
Sometimes, depending on the flights and hotels used. Ask the responsible advisor before confirming, since it changes the air booking.
