Date

Description

The trip begins on March 20 with the flight to Tokyo, which you book yourself, and arrival follows the next day. A transfer waits for you at the airport to reach the hotel. Three days follow in the capital, at the time of year when the city's cherry trees are getting ready to bloom. The group holds eight to twelve people, not one more, and a French-speaking tour leader walks with you from the first day to the last.

The road then opens toward Mount Fuji, Matsumoto, Takayama and the village of Shirakawa-go. It runs down to Hiroshima and the island of Miyajima, before four days in Kyoto, the former capital. Fifteen days and fourteen nights in all, from March 20 to April 3, 2027.

Travel is by private coach and by shinkansen, the high-speed train, and luggage moves on its own between some stages. One night is spent in a ryokan, the Japanese inn, with its onsen bath and its kaiseki dinner. Twenty-five meals are included, and local French-speaking guides lead the visits.

International airfare is not included in the displayed price. You book it with your Voyages Synergia advisor, which leaves you free to choose the airline, the routing and the arrival date. Both transfers are included: the one from Tokyo airport to the hotel on March 21, and the one from the hotel to Osaka airport or Kyoto station on April 3. The return flight leaves from Osaka and brings you back to Canada the same day, thanks to the time difference.

FAQ

The tour runs 15 days and 14 nights, from March 20 to April 3, 2027. March 20 is the day of the flight to Tokyo, which you book yourself, and arrival in Japan is on March 21. On April 3, the return flight leaves from Osaka and brings you back to Canada the same day, thanks to the time difference. The group departs on that date, but you can arrive earlier or extend the stay: your advisor arranges those extra days as a personalized trip.

Synergia network group departures

Advisors in the Voyages Synergia network build their own group departures every year, with limited places. These are trips born of a passion rather than a catalogue: Christmas markets in Europe, the Nile valley, skiing in the Alps. The list above changes with the seasons.

What sets these departures apart

  • A network advisor behind every departure, who knows the product being sold
  • A restricted number of places, often a few dozen, sometimes fewer than ten
  • A clear theme, built around one activity rather than a destination alone
  • Fixed dates: you join the departure, you do not build it

How to book

Each departure has its own responsible advisor. Choose the trip that interests you in the list, then reach us through the contact page for remaining places and terms. These departures often fill months ahead.

Other ways to travel as a group

If no date suits you, two other routes exist: organized trips, already built and sold by tour operators, and a custom group, built around your own participants. Voyages AquaTerra holds Quebec permit 702703.
