Scarlet Lady: the first of the four Virgin ships, adults only, 123 departures on our calendar

Scarlet Lady has sailed since 2021 for Virgin Voyages. We carry 123 departures across 117 dates and 66 routes, from 24 July 2026 to 15 October 2028, out of Miami, Barcelona and Athens. One thing before anything else: the fleet is adults only. If you travel with children, this is not the ship, and it is better to learn that here than at the check-in desk.

The ship

Built by Fincantieri, at Sestri Ponente, in Italy. One hundred and ten thousand gross tons, two hundred and seventy-eight metres, two thousand seven hundred and seventy guests and one thousand one hundred and sixty crew. This is a large modern hull, not a yacht.

What the line says is included, and what that does not say

Virgin Voyages states on its site that the fare covers meals, Wi-Fi, group fitness classes and "essential drinks". That last word deserves a pause: "essential" is not "all". We report what the line announces, we do not assert it on its behalf, and we invite you to ask your advisor for the written list before booking. It is the kind of gap that gets discovered at the first drink.

Valiant Lady has sailed since 2022, Resilient Lady since 2023, and Brilliant Lady entered service in September 2025. The four share the same hull; what changes is the ground they cover.
