Yes, very easily: Helsingborg is only 4 kilometres away, a twenty-minute ferry from the harbour. From the top of Kronborg's ramparts, Sweden looks within shouting distance. Just keep an eye on your all-aboard time.

Frederiksborg Castle, set on its islets at Hillerød, 30 to 40 minutes by road or train: Baroque gardens, the national history museum and a knights' hall among the richest in the kingdom. Copenhagen is about 45 minutes by train, but Helsingør is more than enough to fill the call.
