By staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you get access to Disney Theme Park 30 minutes before everyone else. This early entry gives you 30 precious minutes to do something usually in demand. We recommend that you leave your hotel an hour before the scheduled early entry.
They both have the same standard features but the DisneyBand + is rechargeable and comes with its own charging cord. Keep in mind that you will have to charge it multiple times during your trip. The Disneyband + will let you interact with elements throughout the parks, including with the 50th anniversary golden statue. It will also light up during the fireworks show.
Many DisneyBand last over 4 or 5 years and more! Sometimes the chip used to detect photos in attractions stops working so you have to scan your DisneyBand to get your photos or you can activate your location in My Disney Experience. The other features work for a really long time. The DisneyBand+ will last longer due to the fact that they are rechargeable.

The Lightning Lane system is an optional paid service that allows guests to spend less time waiting in line by accessing a priority entrance called the Lightning Lane. Depending on your vacation style, you can choose from three options: Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Lightning Lane Single Pass, or Lightning Lane Premier Pass. These passes are purchased separately from your theme park admission and are managed through the My Disney Experience app.
Disney offers three different Lightning Lane options:
Lightning Lane Multi Pass
Allows you to reserve return times for multiple participating attractions.
You can make your initial selections before your visit and continue booking additional attractions throughout the day, subject to availability.
Lightning Lane Single Pass
Provides access to one of Disney's most popular attractions that is not included with Multi Pass.
Guests may purchase up to two different Single Passes per person, per day, depending on availability.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass
Offers one-time Lightning Lane access to every participating attraction in a single theme park without selecting return times.
It is the most flexible option for guests who want to experience as many attractions as possible.
Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel or select partner hotels can purchase Lightning Lane passes and make their initial selections up to 7 days before their check-in date, for the length of their stay (up to Disney's maximum booking window).
All other guests can purchase Lightning Lane passes and begin booking attractions up to 3 days before their park visit.
All purchases and reservations are made through the My Disney Experience app.
Yes. Guests can combine different Lightning Lane options during the same park day.
For example, you can purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass and add up to two Lightning Lane Single Passes for the most popular attractions. You may also choose to purchase a Lightning Lane Premier Pass, subject to availability.
