Density, especially in bad weather. When British rain sends everyone indoors, MSC Virtuosa feels far smaller than its tonnage suggests. Reviews also cite uneven service, repeated upselling and loose communication about timings. Genuinely quiet rooms are scarce once you step outside the Yacht Club.
Depending on tier: cocktails, spirits, wine and beer by the glass, specialty coffee, soft drinks and bottled water, gratuities included, subject to a per-drink value ceiling and a fifteen alcoholic drink daily limit. Alcohol-free and minors' packages exist. On MSC Virtuosa, as fleetwide, all adults in a cabin must buy the same one.

A midship balcony on a middle deck gives the best balance. Avoid the bow if Atlantic pitching worries you, and the stern if you want quiet near the aquapark. MSC Virtuosa also offers connecting cabins that suit families. Under the Bella experience MSC assigns your cabin, so you cannot choose the location.
