    The Treasure of Galapagos no longer appears in the fleet the line publishes and our inventory shows no departure date. The hull belongs to an Ecuadorian owner: a third-party database names him, without the line ever confirming it. In any case she was never a ship of the group.

    In exchange for the format: no pool, no lift, no wheelchair-accessible cabin, limited public space. Sixteen people aboard is a group that knows one another within two days. Some love that, others do not, and it is better known in advance.

    The programme was sold as a tour combining mainland Ecuador and the archipelago, with lodging ashore, the cruise, meals and excursions guided by certified naturalists.
