Both dates circulate because they describe different events. Chantiers de l'Atlantique delivered the ship on 23 October 2025, after sea trials completed on 15 September. The four-night preview cruise sailed on 9 November 2025, the christening by Brazilian chef Janaína Torres took place on 16 November, and the five-night maiden voyage left Fort Lauderdale on 18 November 2025. When a source says "entered service", check which of those dates it means.
She replaces Eden, the three-deck volume on the first four ships, with The Bazaar, a rotating festival space housing the Mosaic and Spice restaurants. Bora, a Mediterranean venue with a fresh fish counter, takes the place of the Rooftop Garden Grill. Add The Attic at The Club, the Hydra Room inside the thermal suite, the forward Vitamin D Deck, the IYKYK speakeasy and the Celebrity Pool Club. She is also tri-fuel and methanol ready, which no other ship in the class is.
She crossed from Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona in 15 nights from 26 April 2026, then began her first European season from 11 May to 23 October 2026, alternating between Barcelona and Piraeus-Athens. Voyages run 7 to 11 nights and cover Greece, Malta, Turkey, Italy, the French Riviera, Spain, Portugal and Morocco, including Celebrity's first overnight calls at Madeira. She leaves Barcelona on 23 October 2026 for a 16-night transatlantic to Miami.
She is based in Miami from 8 November 2026 to 11 April 2027 for 6- and 7-night cruises to the Bahamas, Mexico, the Cayman Islands, Puerto Plata, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Antigua and the ABC islands, then returns to Europe from 26 April to 18 October 2027. Watch the direction of travel: several European departures run one way between Barcelona and Athens, which forces an open-jaw air ticket, into one city and out of the other. Montreal serves both Barcelona and Athens nonstop in the summer season. Miami has nonstop service year-round.
The ship carries 32 Edge Single staterooms with Infinite Veranda, the largest solo inventory in the class, alongside 198 suites, 163 AquaClass and 299 Concierge Class staterooms. Roughly 83% have outdoor space and 28 are adapted for reduced mobility. For a genuine open balcony ask for an aft Sunset Veranda; for the spa and the Blu restaurant, AquaClass; for Luminae and the private sundeck, The Retreat, with Sky Suite, Celebrity Suite, Royal Suite, Penthouse, Iconic Suite and the two-storey Edge Villa. Staterooms on deck 3 behind the Martini Bar and on deck 6 above The Club are the noisiest aboard.
Four main dining rooms are included, Cyprus, Tuscan, Cosmopolitan and Normandie, with the Oceanview Café, the Spice Café that replaces Eden Café, the Waves Grill and Café al Bacio. Extra-charge venues are Mosaic at The Bazaar, Bora, Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud, Fine Cut Steakhouse, Raw on 5, Le Grand Bistro and Le Petit Chef. Luminae serves suites and Blu serves AquaClass. The ship counts 15 restaurants and 12 bars and lounges, including the Martini Bar, Sunset Bar, Craft Social, the IYKYK speakeasy and The Attic at The Club, open around the clock with arcade cabinets and pool.
Despite being brand new, she has only one main pool and it fills fast on sea days. The spa hydrotherapy pool is judged small by many. Reviews criticise a drop in main dining room quality that pushes guests toward paid venues, and solo female travellers have reported uneven service. Eden regulars miss the three-deck volume replaced by The Bazaar, and the Infinite Veranda draws the same objections here as on the other four ships.
The four main dining rooms, Cyprus, Tuscan, Cosmopolitan and Normandie, plus the Oceanview Café buffet, the Spice Café, the Waves Grill, the Chapters and Between Takes shows, the pool and the gym are included. The forward Vitamin D Deck serves complimentary non-alcoholic drinks. The All Included fare adds drinks, Premium Wi-Fi and gratuities. Mosaic, Bora, Le Voyage and Fine Cut Steakhouse remain extra.
A daily service charge posts to your onboard account at three levels: standard stateroom, Concierge Class and AquaClass, then Retreat suites. All Included fares cover it, as do AquaClass and Retreat bookings made on or after 14 July 2022. A separate gratuity is added automatically to drinks at the Martini Bar, the IYKYK speakeasy and the Sunset Bar, and to paid meals at Mosaic, Bora and Le Voyage. On the 16-night transatlantic of 23 October 2026, that adds up over more than two weeks.
In the Mediterranean, with daily calls at Mykonos, Santorini or Messina, guests often drink ashore and the package pays off more slowly. On the 16-night crossing to Miami and on Bahamas weeks with sea days, the opposite holds. Bora's boozy brunch and the cocktails at the IYKYK speakeasy fall inside the package under the per-item price ceiling. Bottles at dinner and premium wines stay outside it.
The newest ship in the fleet offers Premium Wi-Fi over Starlink with video calls, streaming and large file transfers, plus the Basic tier for light browsing. Coverage is strong in the Mediterranean and on the transatlantic. Premium is included in the All Included fare. Given the number of one-way departures between Barcelona and Athens, a solid connection also helps you manage air connections from the stateroom.
Camp at Sea takes Shipmates aged 3 to 5, Cadets 6 to 9, Captains 10 to 12 and a teen club for 13 to 17, at no charge during regular hours, but there is no nursery and no care for children under 3, and a child must be toilet trained. The Attic at The Club, with its arcade cabinets, pool table and darts, is adults-only and is not an answer for young guests. The ship has no waterslide and no rock wall. Weeks out of Miami suit families better than an 11-night Mediterranean itinerary loaded with sightseeing.
The tiers run Preview, Classic, Select, Elite, Elite Plus and Zenith, with Double Zenith and Triple Zenith milestones added in June 2026. The daily Elite gathering from 5 to 7 p.m. pairs well with sunset at the Sunset Bar during the Mediterranean season. Elite Plus members get a discount on paid restaurants, welcome at Mosaic and Bora. The 16 nights of the October 2026 crossing earn more points than an ordinary week.
The Mediterranean is usually kind from May to October, though the meltemi can raise a short sea in the Aegean in July and August, between Mykonos and Kusadasi. The 16-night crossing to Miami traverses the Atlantic in late October, a rougher stretch of the calendar. Book a midship stateroom on decks 8 to 10; at 327 metres with modern stabilisers, she absorbs most of the roll. The forward Vitamin D Deck is the worst spot aboard in heavy weather.
