Ship-tracking registries and CruiseMapper instead show 90,940 tons under IMO 9192387, a gap of about 63 tons that most likely reflects a tonnage measurement not updated after the 30 cabins added in 2019. We publish 91,003, the cruise line's own figure, while flagging the discrepancy. Crew numbers run around 997.
Because 2,218 is an all-berths count and 2,158 is double occupancy. Wikipedia is explicit on this particular ship: 2,158 lower berths and 2,218 all berths after the 2019 refit, which added 30 staterooms including 13 AquaClass. Her refit is the best documented of the four: 31 days from 17 February 2019 at Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport, with every stateroom and bathroom rebuilt, 30 cabins added, a Retreat Sundeck and Retreat Lounge created for suite guests, and a new spa and casino. Alaska from Vancouver through the summer, on seven-night runs to Seward calling at Ketchikan, Sitka, Juneau and Icy Strait Point with a scenic day at Hubbard Glacier, operated in both directions. She works south to Los Angeles in mid-September, then leaves Los Angeles on 1 October for an 18-day repositioning to Tampa through the Panama Canal. From 18 October 2026, eight-night Caribbean loops depart Tampa for Key West, Cozumel and Costa Maya through late December.
She stays at Tampa until 18 April 2027, crosses to Los Angeles in 16 days, reaches Vancouver on 3 May, then runs the Alaska season to 12 September. She then heads south to Los Angeles, north to Boston, and takes San Juan as her home port from 20 October 2027. From Montreal that translates simply: Vancouver is a nonstop domestic flight, daily; Tampa and San Juan are served nonstop in the winter season; but Seward needs a domestic flight out of Anchorage, roughly two and a half hours by road from the pier.
In Alaska, take the balcony: Hubbard Glacier and the Inside Passage are watched from the cabin as readily as from the open decks, often in the rain. AquaClass, expanded by 13 staterooms in 2019, opens Blu and the Persian Garden. Prepaying at booking locks the rate, a sound reflex on the 18-day repositioning of October 2026. A service charge is added automatically to drinks bought individually, at the Sunset Bar as at Cellar Masters. Excursions sold on board already include the guide's gratuity, not the driver's.
Often yes, more so than in the Mediterranean. The seven-night Vancouver runs include two days of navigation, one of them at Hubbard Glacier, and cold days in Ketchikan or Juneau bring guests back aboard earlier than warm-weather ports do. The Classic package inside the All Included fare covers beer, wine by the glass, standard cocktails and Café al Bacio coffees up to a value threshold. Premium raises that threshold and opens the better bottles at Cellar Masters, which mainly suits wine drinkers.

It suits families who came for Alaska rather than families who want a ship as the attraction. Camp at Sea covers ages 3 to 5, 6 to 9 and 10 to 12, with a separate teen space and paid evening care. The ship has no headline water facilities, and Alaska adds a weather factor, since open decks are often cold and wet. The excursions at Juneau and Icy Strait Point, on the other hand, stay with children aged 8 and up for years.

Little on the Inside Passage, which runs sheltered behind islands for much of the route.
