Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino occupies the widest stretch of Palm Beach, with 519 rooms and suites since its new tower opened. The Westerly, inaugurated on 28 May 2026, adds 161 oversized rooms and suites, adults-only swim-up rooms and an adults-only rooftop terrace. Add eight dining outlets including the Sunset Grille steakhouse, two zero-entry pools with cabanas, a casino and the eforea spa with its aloe treatments. The resort faces all of Palm Beach life, on foot.

That tower, The Westerly, changes the nature of the address. Oversized rooms and suites, adults-only swim-up categories, and Terrace on 10, an adults-only rooftop with its own dining, cocktails and wellness programming against the panorama.

The rest follows: eight dining outlets, two zero-entry pools with private cabanas, a casino, and the eforea spa whose aloe treatments are a reminder that the plant is the island's agricultural heritage.

Is Hilton Aruba all-inclusive?

No, the plan is room-only. That is true of most large addresses on Palm Beach, and the location explains why: the hotel has one of the best walkability scores on the island, with shops, restaurants and casinos literally across the road.

The Palm Beach Club is the house privilege level, with dedicated concierge, a rooftop terrace and some meals included. It is the way to gain more inclusions without leaving the hotel.

If you would rather have the budget settled in advance, Barceló Aruba is the all-inclusive in this district, a few minutes' walk away.

Palm Beach or Eagle Beach: what changes

Aruba sorts its hotel districts by building height, not by category.

Palm Beach, the High-Rise district, where the Hilton sits, lines up towers along roughly three kilometres of sand, with a continuous strip of restaurants, shops and casinos across the road.

Eagle Beach, the Low-Rise district, has low buildings, more space and the widest beach on the island. You go there for the quiet.

A Low-Rise hotel is not a lesser hotel: it is a geography, not a grade. The Hilton occupies the widest stretch on the lively side, which is the best of both worlds for anyone who wants space on the sand without giving up walking out for the evening.

The original wing or The Westerly?

That is the real question to settle before booking, and it did not exist before May 2026.

The Westerly is new: oversized rooms, recent finishes, adults-only swim-up categories, and access to Terrace on 10. It is the choice for anyone who wants contemporary and the quiet of an adults section.

The original wing, with its 358 rooms, keeps the character of an established Caribbean resort and its mature gardens. It gives access to the same pools, the same beach and the same restaurants, at a more accessible positioning.

Both are good choices, but they are not the same stay. Have the tower specified in your file rather than discovering the difference on arrival: exactly the sort of detail an AquaTerra advisor locks down before departure.

Where do you eat on property?

Eight dining outlets, with a clear signature.

• Sunset Grille, the house steakhouse. It is the table guests name most often, and the one you reserve on arrival.
• Shore Club, beachside, between sushi and international bites.
• Laguna, for the breakfast buffet and omelettes made in front of you.
• Sunset Bar, for cocktails at the hour it is named for.
• Oscar's Market: Lavazza coffee, pastries, gelato and grab-and-go.
• Beach Bites, delivered straight to your beach lounger.
• And the Sunset Concierge, who arranges a private four-course dinner with your feet in the sand.

Add the dozens of addresses across the road and you will not repeat a dinner in two weeks.

The pools, the beach and the spa

Two outdoor zero-entry pools, with food and beverage service, private cabanas and "poolapas". Zero entry is a detail that matters with young children or for anyone unsteady on their feet.

The beach is the widest stretch of Palm Beach, which translates very concretely: more space between the palapas and less of an early-morning scramble than at the neighbours.

The eforea spa offers aloe treatments among others, from a plant cultivated in Aruba since 1890 and now one of its emblems. The casino on property is Las Vegas in style.

Who is it right for?

A strong fit for:

• Anyone who wants new: The Westerly is the most recent product on Palm Beach.
• Couples looking for an adults section without leaving a full resort, between the swim-up rooms and Terrace on 10.
• Families who want space on the sand and zero-entry pools.
• Anyone who likes to eat well: Sunset Grille holds its own along the whole strip.
• Hilton Honors members.

Better served elsewhere:

• Anyone who wants a budget settled in advance: Barceló Aruba answers better.
• Anyone after complete quiet: Eagle Beach is the district, with Bucuti & Tara at the head of it.
• Anyone who sleeps very lightly: Palm Beach life continues late across the road.

What to know before you book

• The ED Card is mandatory for everyone, infants included, online within seven days of departure and free on the official site edcardaruba.aw.
• Specify the tower. Westerly or original wing: these are two different stays, have it written into the file.
• Documents. A valid passport, no visa for Canadians up to 90 days. Current requirements on travel.gc.ca.
• Right turns on a red light are prohibited in Aruba. Driving is on the right, limits in km/h.
• The wind. The trade winds blow almost constantly, strongest from May to October. They cool the air and hold sargassum away from this coast, but they mask the heat: sunscreen more often than instinct suggests.
• Electricity. Current and outlets are the same as in Canada.
• Charges on property. Accommodation tax, service charges and daily fees are added to the rate. You get the full picture before booking.
• Travel insurance. Medical care may require payment up front.
