The Riu Palace Bavaro has expanded onto the former Naiboa site. It now has 994 rooms, 32 restaurants and bars and the first Elite Club ever placed in a family RIU Palace. Its guests have access to the complex's Splash Water World water park.

The other RIU resorts on Arena Gorda

On the same beach, the Riu Bambu welcomes families with its water park and the RIU4U teen club, and the Riu Palace Punta Cana also welcomes children. Couples and groups of friends should look at the Riu Republica and the Riu Palace Macao, both adults-only.
