Where the Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort stands today

This resort closed on 1 June 2020, out at the far end of the Santa Barbara plantation, along the Spaanse Water. Sandals bought the property six months later and reopened it on 1 June 2022, after major work, as Sandals Royal Curaçao. Same buildings, same beach, same Old Quarry golf course. What changed is the guest list: the address now welcomes couples 18 and over. We keep this page online because the old name still circulates on plenty of booking sites.

For a couple, Sandals Royal Curaçao is literally the same address and the same sand, with seven accessible rooms and a full all-inclusive plan.
