Club Med Columbus Isle, the hotel fact sheet

Club Med Columbus Isle is a Premium all-inclusive hotel, built on 30 hectares near Cockburn Town, on the island of San Salvador, in the Bahamas. San Salvador airport is 1 km away, a 5-minute transfer. Its 236 rooms, including brightly coloured bungalows, face a long white-sand beach and very clear turquoise water, lined with some of the most renowned reefs and walls in the archipelago. It is open from October 17, 2026 to August 27, 2027, then from October 23 to December 17, 2027.

Which rooms does Club Med Columbus Isle offer?

The hotel favours simple, bright rooms, facing the sea or tucked into colourful bungalows. Here are the categories:

• Superior Room: 30 m², for 1 to 3 people, also available with a sea view.
• Superior Bungalow: 32 m², with the feel of a brightly coloured little beach house.
• Connecting rooms: 60 m² for 4 to 6 people, two rooms joined by a door.
• Deluxe Room: a more comfortable category, for special occasions.
• Accessible room: for travellers with reduced mobility.

What facilities does the hotel have?

The long white-sand beach and the turquoise sea are the heart of the hotel. The dive centre runs outings to the reefs and walls of San Salvador, and a diving medicine doctor is on site. The water sports base lends sailboats, kayaks, paddleboards and snorkelling gear, and waterskiing rounds out the offer. You will also find a pool, tennis courts, La Pinta restaurant on the beach, a bar where the day ends at sunset and the Club Med Spa by Sothys.

Which kids' clubs are there, and for what ages?

• Club Med Teens, 11 to 13 years: included, with water sports and time among friends.
• Club Med Teens, 14 to 17 years: included, with waterskiing and wing foiling on the program.
• Children 2 to 10 years: welcome from age 2, they enjoy the beach and the pool with their parents.

The hotel is designed for couples, divers and families with teenagers. For young children who need a supervised club, your advisor points you to another Caribbean resort.

Which activities are included, and which cost extra?

Included: group sailing, waterskiing and wakeboarding lessons, wing foiling, inflatable wing board, stand-up paddle, kayaking, snorkelling, tennis, pool, Jonah Kest yoga at sunrise and sunset, meditation, a talk on marine life and evening shows.

Extra: packages of 6 to 12 unguided dives, PADI courses, a reef conservation course, Club Med Spa by Sothys treatments, couples' treatments included, bike rental and excursions: island tour by boat, bike or scooter, gospel service in Cockburn Town, sustainable fly fishing and a sunset cruise.
