Yes, completely. The National Park Service maintains Broadway as an open-air museum within Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park: period saloons, balconied hotels and general stores follow one another over a few blocks.
The White Pass train takes about three hours out and back to the summit, leaving time for the town afterwards. Otherwise, the free ranger-led walking tour of the historic district pairs well with the pioneer cemetery and Reid Falls.
The White Pass and Yukon Route, a narrow-gauge line built in 1898 during the gold rush. Vintage carriages climb nearly 900 metres over some thirty kilometres, skirting gorges, waterfalls and trestle bridges up to White Pass on the Canadian border.
