Yes, Wi-Fi is included in the package. It is handy for sharing a sunset photo, checking the My Club Med app or booking a spa treatment. Many couples actually choose Michès to slow down: between the beach, yoga and naps in the jungle, the phone often stays in the room.
The local currency is the Dominican peso. At the resort, the room, meals, the bar, activities and tips are included, so you need very little cash. Bring a credit card for the spa, excursions and the boutique, and a few small bills for an outing to the town of Michès.
Generally not: the country uses 110-volt current and flat-pin outlets, just like Canada. Your chargers and small appliances work without an adapter. A small power bar is still handy for families, to charge phones, tablets and cameras at the same time overnight, ready for the next day's outings.

Very much so. Two connecting Deluxe rooms totalling 90 m² sleep up to six, with privacy for everyone. While the children are at the club, grandparents enjoy the beach, sunrise yoga or a cooking class. In the evening, the whole family meets at Cayuco restaurant.

Yes, the Michès Cocoa excursion visits a plantation in the area. You follow the bean's journey from pod to chocolate. It is booked at extra cost and works very well for curious children. It is also a lovely chance to see the Dominican countryside and bring home a tasty souvenir.
