Disney Hotel New York® – The Art of Marvel looks like a slice of Manhattan set down on the shore of Lake Disney. Behind its brick and skyscraper facade, this four-star hotel has become a New York art gallery, a place to admire the Art of Marvel rather than sleep on a film set.

It reopened on June 21, 2021 and displays more than 350 works by more than 110 artists. Every floor is named after a Super Hero, from Captain America to Doctor Strange, and the corridor to the convention center houses the Jack Kirby Legacy Gallery, devoted to the King of Comics. The parks are about a ten-minute walk away along the lake.

Who is Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel for?

Families whose children know every Avenger by heart, of course, and also adults who love illustration and design. The mood is more urban and more hushed than at the other Disney Hotels, with elegant bars and bright rooms. Business travellers will find a full convention center connected to the hotel.

Which room should you choose?

The hotel has 561 rooms and suites. The 471 Superior rooms have two double beds, or one large bed and a sofa bed. Empire State Club occupies the top floors of the Midtown building with 65 rooms and 25 suites, a private reception and the Empire State Lounge, which serves breakfast and then snacks through the day. At the very top, two duplex Presidential Suites, Eternity Suite and Infinity Suite, each measure 166 m² and overlook the lake.

Where can you eat at Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel?

Manhattan Restaurant serves Italian-inspired table-service dining in an elegant round room whose great chandelier recalls Asgard, Thor's realm. Downtown Restaurant offers a buffet in the spirit of a New York diner, beneath 90 black and white Marvel drawings. It is the place for breakfast before the park and relaxed family dinners.

For a drink, Skyline Bar recalls Tony Stark's loft, opposite reception, and Bleecker Street Lounge is named after the street where Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum stands. Its menu was refreshed in 2026, with a morning offer and Super Hero-themed drinks.

What is there to do between park visits?

Metro Pool is heated and extends outdoors, with a children's pool, a hot tub, a sauna and a fitness room. Outside, Hero Training Zone is a multi-sports court where children can burn off extra energy.

At Marvel Design Studio, young artists draw their own hero. At Super Hero Station, families meet Marvel Super Heroes and leave with a souvenir photo. New York Boutique rounds out the visit.

How does staying here change your park days?

Like every Disney Hotel guest, you enjoy Extra Magic Time, when selected attractions open before the general public, and you can book restaurants as soon as your stay is confirmed. The walk to the parks and Disney Village takes about ten minutes, and a free shuttle covers the route for tired little legs.

How do you get to Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel from Canada?

Flights from Montréal land at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. From there, the TGV high-speed train reaches Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy station in about ten minutes, and the free shuttles to the Disney Hotels leave from there. If you spend a few days in Paris first, the RER A line brings you to the same station.
