Disneyland Paris Destinations

Disneyland® Paris is not a smaller Orlando. Two Disney Parks, seven Disney Hotels and Disney Village sit on a compact, walkable site about 32 kilometres east of Paris, and that changes the whole shape of the trip.

For a Canadian family, it is rarely a Disney-only vacation. You cross the Atlantic once, spend three days at the parks and a few more in the city.

Getting there from Toronto and Montreal

Toronto Pearson and Montreal-Trudeau both have nonstop flights to Paris. From central Paris, the RER A reaches the parks in about 35 minutes from Nation station, and the Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy TGV station serves the resort directly.

That is why the flight, not the hotel, is usually the largest line in a Canadian budget for this trip, and why three days at the parks plus three in the city is the shape we book most often.

Two parks you can walk between

Disneyland Park holds the classics: Sleeping Beauty Castle with the dragon's lair beneath it, Big Thunder Mountain on its island, Phantom Manor, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones™ et le Temple du Péril and Star Wars™ Hyperspace Mountain.

Disney Adventure World, renamed on March 29, 2026, is organized into worlds: World of Frozen, Marvel Avengers Campus, Worlds of Pixar and Adventure Way, where the Disney Cascade of Lights nighttime spectacular plays over Adventure Bay. Parks, village and most hotels are within walking distance, with no bus network to learn.

French first, English everywhere

French is the primary language of Disneyland Paris, and welcome, safety and signage always come with English alongside. Some attraction names stay in English as Disney intends. Your children will hear more French than on a Florida trip, which for many Canadian families is part of the appeal.

Where to stay

Seven Disney Hotels surround the parks, from Disneyland Hotel at the very gate of Disneyland Park to Disney Davy Crockett Ranch in the forest. Villages Nature Paris offers a different kind of stay, and about ten partner hotels in Val d'Europe round out the choice. Disney Premier Access, the fast lane at Disneyland Paris

The paid service that lets you bypass the regular queue at some attractions is called Disney Premier Access, and it is sold in the official Disneyland Paris app, subject to availability. Its name and rules are specific to Disneyland Paris.

What a Disneyland Paris trip costs

Three things make the budget: the transatlantic flight, then the hotel, then dated park tickets for one or two parks. Summer, the holidays and French school breaks are the busiest and most expensive weeks; winter outside the holidays is the quietest. Yes. We put together the flight, the hotel and the park tickets as one package priced in Canadian dollars, departing from Toronto, Montreal or a connecting airport. Most Canadian bookings also add a few days in Paris itself, since the resort is about 35 minutes from the city by RER A. Park tickets should be booked before you leave, as they are generally not sold at the park gates.
About 32 kilometres east of the city by road, or roughly 35 minutes on the RER A regional train from Nation station. The Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy TGV station is right at the resort, which also makes it easy to continue elsewhere in France by high-speed train after your park days. Most Canadian travellers arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport, where another TGV line reaches the resort in about ten minutes.

Walt Disney World has four theme parks and two water parks spread over a huge property served by buses, boats and a gondola. Paris takes three or four days and combines naturally with a European city; Florida usually calls for a full week.

A few rides, including Indiana Jones™ et le Temple du Péril, also have a Single Rider line. Its name and rules are specific to Disneyland Paris, which is worth keeping in mind when comparing travel guides.
Winter outside the holiday period is generally the quietest time, while summer, Christmas and French school holidays are the busiest and priciest weeks of the year.
