At Disney Sequoia Lodge®, you step into a great wood and stone lodge inspired by America's national parks. A huge stone fireplace dominates the lobby, conifers line the paths, and the lodges that hold the rooms are named Yosemite, Yellowstone, Big Sur and Monterey. Lake Disney is right there, and the parks are about a ten-minute walk away.

This three-star hotel has around a thousand rooms, spread between the Main Building and lodges scattered among the trees, so you feel you are sleeping in a forest a few steps from the parks.

A renovation under way

Since January 2026, Disney Sequoia Lodge has been renovating while staying open. Rooms in the five outer lodges come first, with decor inspired by Bambi, Pocahontas and Brave. The first renovated rooms welcome guests from February 19, 2027. On that date, Redwood Bar and Lounge and the Northwest Passage shop close for works, replaced by a temporary counter in the lobby for drinks, snacks and souvenirs.

The Main Building will follow, and completion is expected by 2028. Your advisor will tell you which rooms are available for your dates, and whether the works are likely to affect your stay.

Which room should you choose?

Standard rooms have two double beds and sleep up to four. Some are closer to the facilities, others face the lake. Golden Forest Club occupies the top three floors of the Main Building, with a dedicated reception and Golden Forest Lounge, which serves breakfast and then snacks through the day.

Where can you eat at Disney Sequoia Lodge?

Hunter's Grill celebrates pioneer life with roast meats served on large skewers, buffet style. Beaver Creek Tavern recreates the warm atmosphere of a national park restaurant, also as a buffet, on the lake side of the hotel.

Until it closes for works in February 2027, Redwood Bar and Lounge welcomes guests around its huge stone fireplace, the perfect spot for a hot chocolate after a cool evening at the park.

What is there to do between park visits?

Quarry Pool is a heated indoor and outdoor pool set in a stone quarry, with a slide, a hot tub, a sauna and a fitness room. Outside, Bear Valley playground keeps children busy, and Little Prairie gives them an indoor play corner.

Disney characters greet families dressed as park rangers. In the evening, a walk along Lake Disney among the pines is a lovely way to end the day.

How does staying here change your park days?

Like every Disney Hotel guest, you enjoy Extra Magic Time, when selected attractions open before the general public, and you can book restaurants as soon as your stay is confirmed. The walk to Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World takes about ten minutes, and a free shuttle also covers the route.

How do you get to Disney Sequoia Lodge from Canada?

Flights from Montréal land at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. From there, the TGV high-speed train reaches Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy station in about ten minutes, and the free shuttles to the Disney Hotels leave from there. If you spend a few days in Paris first, the RER A line brings you to the same station.
