A typical day at Club Med Valmorel

As soon as you get out of bed, the immaculate open spaces beckon. The whole family prepares for breakfast at the buffet restaurant Les Cerfs et le Céleste, decorated in a fun and playful style. Then it's time to gear up for a day outdoors! While the kids join their mini-club G.O. team for their daily ski lesson with their friends, the adults hit the slopes of Grand Domaine. You pass the Col de la Madeleine at an altitude of 1993 metres, the mythical crossing point between the Tarentaise and Maurienne valleys. The view of Mont Blanc, the Aiguilles d'Arves and the Etendard glacier is breathtaking. 

On your return from this epic journey, you'll settle in for a dinner of local flavors at the La Laiterie Gourmet Lounge restaurant. After a coffee in the sun and a break by the indoor pool, you can't resist the urge to hit the fir-lined hiking trails, snowshoes in hand. 

Now it's time to get ready for the evening. You've booked a table at La Laiterie Gourmet Lounge for a tasting of Savoyard dishes and local produce - a real treat! The evening continues with the show and a drink in the festive bar.

Club Med Valmorel has 2 bars:

• Le Roc Bar: this is the Village's main bar, where you can enjoy a drink at any time of day in an intimate atmosphere. It gives access to large outdoor terraces.
• Le bar de la Tour: located next to the main bar, this is the place to enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine in a cosy, festive atmosphere.

There are 2 restaurants to choose from: 

• Les Cerfs and Le Céleste: this is the main buffet restaurant where you can enjoy each meal of the day in a different room and atmosphere: Les Cerfs welcomes you to the "Relais d'Automne" and "Refuge d'Hiver" dining rooms. Le Céleste, in the "Le Printemps de la Volière" and "L'Observatoire d'Eté" rooms
• La Laiterie Gourmet Lounge: the Village's specialty restaurant, with its authentic, traditional decor. Enjoy local dishes and gourmet Savoyard fare. The sommeliers at La Cave (à la carte) are always on hand to suggest the best wines to accompany your dishes.
