Club Med Yasmina at a glance

Club Med Yasmina is an all-inclusive resort in northern Morocco, on the Mediterranean, near M'Diq, 10 km from Tetouan and 70 km from Tangier. Its private 17 ha garden runs along a wide golden-sand beach, next to the 18-hole Cabo Negro golf course. The resort is being transformed: at the end of its summer season, Club Med begins 18 months of renovation, and reopening is announced for summer 2028. New terraces, redesigned living spaces and eight padel courts are on the program. In the meantime, our advisors point you to Marrakech la Palmeraie, Djerba la Douce, Magna Marbella or Da Balaia, and let you know as soon as bookings open.

What does the Club Med Yasmina renovation have in store?

Club Med has planned 18 months of work to bring Yasmina back to life in summer 2028. The terraces will be rebuilt, the living spaces redesigned, and eight padel courts will join the 12 clay tennis courts that made the resort's reputation. The 343 rooms and the resort's four areas, Sultana on the seafront, Altaïr around its zen pool, Yasmina near the kids' clubs and Andalous, will all benefit from this fresh start. Reopening dates will be bookable as soon as they are officially announced.

What made Yasmina so charming?

First, the sea: a long golden-sand beach on the Mediterranean, and a mild climate for swimming from late spring to fall. Then the Cabo Negro golf course, an 18-hole layout among umbrella pines and eucalyptus trees. The infinity pool, the flying trapeze and Club Med Spa by Cinq Mondes completed the picture. And all around, northern Morocco: the Tetouan medina, Chefchaouen the blue city, the Akchour waterfalls, Asilah and the Rif mountains.

How will you get there when it reopens?

Tetouan airport is 12 km away, about 15 minutes by road, and Tangier airport 90 km away, about 1 hour 30 minutes. From Quebec, you leave from Montreal with a connection depending on the season. Your advisor will suggest the simplest itinerary as soon as dates open.

Which Club Med resorts should you choose in the meantime?

Marrakech la Palmeraie keeps Morocco on the program: a year-round resort in the heart of the palm grove, with its driving range, its Exclusive Collection Riad and clubs from 4 months. Djerba la Douce, in Tunisia, offers a 1 km beach lined with date palms and Club Med's largest fleet of catamarans, from April to November. Across the strait, Magna Marbella overlooks the Costa del Sol from its 12 ha of terraced gardens, near Andalusia's golf courses. Finally, Da Balaia, in the Algarve, stands on red cliffs above Maria Luísa beach, with open access to Balaia Golf Club.

Club Med announces new terraces, redesigned living spaces and eight padel courts, joining the 12 clay tennis courts. The resort keeps its 17 ha garden, its golden-sand beach and its neighbour, the 18-hole Cabo Negro golf course.
Marrakech la Palmeraie, open year-round, is the natural choice. You will find Moroccan hospitality, a driving range with group golf lessons, an Exclusive Collection space, Le Riad, and clubs from 4 months. The medina and Jemaa el-Fna square are 5 km away.
Djerba la Douce, in Tunisia, offers a 1 km beach of golden sand and Club Med's largest fleet of catamarans, from April 3 to November 5, 2027. Magna Marbella, on the Costa del Sol, is another lovely Mediterranean option, with sea views from its terraced gardens.
Da Balaia, in the Algarve, offers open access to Balaia Golf Club, with group lessons included, and the region's great courses are available at extra cost. Magna Marbella has a driving range with open access and course packages on the Costa del Sol, at extra cost.
All four alternatives welcome babies from 4 months: Baby Club Med from 4 to 23 months and Petit Club Med for ages 2 and 3, at extra cost. Marrakech la Palmeraie adds its Oasis Famille, with a waterslide pool and water play, a big hit with parents.
Marrakech la Palmeraie is open during spring break in early March, as is Magna Marbella, which reopens on February 6, 2027. Da Balaia reopens on March 27, 2027, just in time for Easter. Your advisor compares availability on your dates.
Chefchaouen and its blue lanes, the Tetouan medina, the Akchour waterfalls in the Rif and the small town of Asilah, on the Atlantic, make up a region well worth exploring. When Yasmina reopens, these outings will once again be within easy reach of the resort.
Da Balaia follows the Algarve's fine season: it reopens on March 27, 2027 and welcomes guests until November 6, 2027, with a short pause in May. Spring and fall are mild there and perfect for golf and excursions to Lagos or the Benagil caves.
