Club Med Quebec Charlevoix is Club Med's first mountain resort in the Americas, in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, about an hour from Old Quebec. Its runs descend towards the St. Lawrence River, a landscape found nowhere else at Club Med, on the Massif de Charlevoix ski area. For winter 2026-2027, the ski season runs from December 4 to April 9. When is Club Med Quebec Charlevoix open for skiing?

The 2026-2027 winter season runs from December 4 to April 9. It covers the holidays, spring break and Easter, on March 28, 2027. Because the resort is so close, many Quebec families come for a long weekend or a few weekdays, not only for a full week. The resort also welcomes travellers outside the ski season: your advisor can give you the dates.

How do you get to Club Med Charlevoix?

By car, the resort is about an hour from Old Quebec and 4 hours 30 minutes from Montreal. Covered parking is available on site, with electric vehicle charging stations at extra cost. Travellers arriving by air land at Quebec City airport, 110 km away, where a shared shuttle takes them to the resort. Your advisor arranges the simplest trip for your group.

What is the food like at Club Med Quebec Charlevoix?

The table celebrates Charlevoix. The chefs cook the region's farm-to-table produce, from poutine to reinvented local dishes, and the restaurants, including Terroir & Co and Le Chalet, offer different settings. Meals and drinks served by the glass are included, with an unlimited bar and snacking formula. Champagne and bottles on the menu cost extra.

Is Club Med Charlevoix good for families?

It is one of its great strengths. Baby Club Med welcomes children from 4 to 23 months and Petit Club Med ages 2 and 3, at extra cost and with limited spots. Mini Club Med then takes over from 4 to 10, followed by Club Med Teens from 11 to 13 and the Chill Pass from 14 to 17, included in the package. Children from age 4 take group ski lessons while their parents enjoy the slopes.

How do you unwind at Club Med Charlevoix?

The Club Med Spa by Sothys draws on the Nordic tradition, where hot and cold answer each other. The outdoor hot tub and the indoor pool overlooking the St. Lawrence are the resort's most popular spots, and a fitness room hosts yoga sessions. Spa treatments cost extra.

What is the atmosphere like at the resort?

The resort blends modern architecture with traditional Quebec design, surrounded by nature. It has 293 rooms and welcomes families, couples and groups of friends in a warm atmosphere. What is there to do in Charlevoix besides skiing?

There is no shortage of activities: snowshoeing in the forest, a sledding run, horse-drawn sleigh rides and after-ski yoga. The Charlevoix region has been recognized as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve since 1989, and Old Quebec, a World Heritage Site, is about an hour away for a day of sightseeing.
