Italian-style vacations

The village nestles in the heart of Piedmont, a region of unspoilt nature and breathtaking scenery in summer and winter alike. The small wooden chalets where you stay are built around the fountain and the restaurants, which serve as a village square where people gather for a drink after a hard day's skiing or hiking in the mountains. 

Start the day with breakfast at the main Il Piemonte restaurant, then put on your skis and head for one of the 70 lifts for a morning of skiing. At lunchtime, we take a break at Casa Mollino, the high-altitude restaurant located directly on the slopes facing the snow-covered mountain. After dinner, it's time to get back on your alpine skis or try your hand at snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

At the end of the day, there's nothing like a dip in the indoor pool. Don't forget to visit the hammam or sauna at the Spa by Payot. Finally, it's time for dinner! Settle in to the La Tana specialty restaurant for typical mountain dishes such as fondue or pierrade, where regional Piedmont cuisine is given pride of place. Let La Cave's sommelier recommend a wine to accompany your meal.

With an altitude of 2823 meters at its highest point, the ski area boasts 400km of downhill ski trails and 40km of cross-country ski trails. A veritable playground for winter sports enthusiasts! The more adventurous can even imitate Olympic skiers on occasion...

Memorable vacations for your children

At Pragelato village, your children aged 2 to 17 are looked after and supervised by the G.O. team at the Petit Club (2 to 3 years), Mini Club (4 to 10 years) and Junior Club (11 to 17 years). On the program: shows, creative workshops, evening entertainment, walks, games and, of course, winter sports! As in all Club Med mountain villages, group ski and snowboard lessons are included in your stay. Ski instructors dress them up and take them out on the slopes to teach them the basics of snow sports, while you parents challenge yourselves on steeper slopes or relax in the spa and pool.
