Club Med Bodrum Palmiye at a glance

Club Med Bodrum Palmiye is an intimate 224-room resort set on a sheltered peninsula of the Aegean Sea, in the Bodrum region of Türkiye. Spread over 4 hectares of hillside planted with umbrella pines, it looks out over Turkish and Greek islands, and a teak boardwalk winds between the rocks down to the sea. Designed for adults and couples, it is all about calm, sailing, wingfoiling, padel and yoga. It opens for the summer season, about 1 hour by road from Bodrum-Milas airport. The package includes accommodation, meals, the bar and around twenty supervised activities, and our advisors arrange flights from Montreal, with a connection.

Why is Club Med Bodrum Palmiye described as designed for adults?

Because everything runs at a grown-up pace. Days are shared between sailing, padel, yoga and long naps in the shade of the pines. With 224 rooms on 4 hectares, you quickly see the same faces at the sunset bar, and the staff know your first name by the second day. It is the resort we suggest to couples, friends travelling together and parents finally treating themselves to a week for two.

Where is the resort and how do you get there from Quebec?

The resort sits on a peninsula of the Aegean coast, in the Bodrum region, in southwestern Türkiye. Bodrum-Milas airport is about 1 hour away by road. From Montreal, you get there with a connection, often in Europe or in Istanbul, which makes it easy to add a few days in the big city before heading to the sea. Your advisor books the flights and transfer with the package and chooses connections that get you there rested.

When should you go to Club Med Bodrum Palmiye?

The resort opens for the summer season, from spring to fall. June and September are our favourite months for couples: the sea is already warm, the days are long and the evenings stay mild on the terraces. July and August bring the full heat and the steady Aegean wind that windsurfers and wingfoilers wait for all year. Your advisor gives you the exact 2027 season dates and the most requested weeks.

Which room should you choose at Club Med Bodrum Palmiye?

The Superior room, 25 to 28 m², sleeps one to three and suits a couple who spend their days outdoors. The Deluxe offers 55 m² for up to four people, ideal for two couples travelling together or anyone who likes space. The Suite, also 55 m², is for two: it is the category for honeymoons and wedding anniversaries. Tell your advisor if a sea view matters to you.

What is the food like at Club Med Bodrum Palmiye?

La Terrasse, the main restaurant, serves its buffets facing the sea, with international dishes, grills and a wide choice of Turkish meze. Le Halikarnas, smaller and right by the water, celebrates Turkish cooking: sautéed octopus, tender lamb, vegetables grilled in olive oil. For drinks, you start the evening at Le Sunset to watch the sun drop behind the islands, move on to L'Éphèse or Bar Artemis, and the beach bar takes over during the day.

Which activities are included in the package?

The sea sets the programme. Windsurfing, wingsurfing, wingfoiling and sailing are included, with instructors who use the Aegean wind to help every level progress. On land, you play padel and tennis, try archery and join Vibhava yoga sessions or Les Mills classes, including Pilates. The boat outing and fitness walks on the peninsula trails round out the week. PADI scuba diving is available at extra cost.

What is access to the sea like?

The resort slopes gently down to the water, and a teak boardwalk links the rocks and swimming spots. Golf carts shuttle between the top of the hill and the seafront, very handy after a day of sailing. The Aegean water is crystal clear, and you often see schools of fish around the rocks. The main pool, with its aqua fitness classes, and the Club Med Spa by Sothys, tucked into the pine forest with a terrace over the sea, complete the places to unwind.

What is there to see around Bodrum?

The region is home to some of the finest sites of Antiquity. The resort offers, at extra cost, excursions to Ephesus and its Library of Celsus, the white terraces of Pamukkale and Lake Bafa, lined with ruins and olive trees. In Bodrum itself, ancient Halicarnassus, you visit St. Peter's Castle and the harbour. The blue cruise aboard a caique, the traditional wooden sailboat, follows the coves for a day of swimming. For a special evening, a private yacht is also possible.

Can you combine the resort with Istanbul or another Club Med?

Yes, and our travellers often do. Istanbul works well for three or four days before or after the stay, and Club Med also offers the excursion at extra cost. Explore our ideas for a stay in Istanbul and a trip to Türkiye. Families travelling with children usually look at Club Med Palmiye, on the Antalya coast, with clubs for every age.
