Canada Grandeur Nature (Canada, Nature on a Grand Scale) is an 11-day, 10-night Club Med Discovery tour that starts in Toronto and ends in Montreal, crossing Ontario and Quebec. How do the first five days unfold, from Toronto to Montebello?

You arrive in Toronto on day one, with time to settle in and have dinner with the group. The next day, a city tour leads to the Distillery District, then the road heads to Niagara: the falls are seen from above, by helicopter, and the day ends with a wine tasting. On day three, a cruise of about an hour weaves through the Thousand Islands archipelago, which counts more than 1,800 islands, before reaching Ottawa. Day four is devoted to the capital: the ByWard Market, then the Canadian Museum of History, before heading to Montebello. On day five, Parc Oméga shows the country's iconic animals in their natural habitat.

And the rest of the trip, from the Laurentians to Quebec City?

Day six begins in the Laurentians with a seaplane flight over hundreds of lakes. On the ground, a short walk of about fifteen minutes leads to a bison reserve, where the guide explains their habits, then a trapper presents ancestral hunting techniques. That night, you sleep in Montreal. On day seven, after a tour of the city, the scenic road follows the St. Lawrence to La Malbaie. Day eight is whale day, on a cruise from Tadoussac. On day nine, a cruise in the Hautes-Gorges park comes before the arrival in Old Quebec, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day ten brings together the city's historic sites, Wendake and Montmorency Falls. On day eleven, you return to Montreal after lunch.

Which moments stay with travellers the most?

Three experiences stand out, because you rarely live them on the same trip. The helicopter flight over Niagara gives the true scale of the Horseshoe and the mist rising from the falls. What is included, and what do you pay separately?

The package covers the core of the trip: road transport in an air-conditioned vehicle with water on board, the ten hotel nights, full board from dinner on day one to lunch on the last day, with one local drink per meal plus tea or coffee, all the activities in the program (helicopter, seaplane and cruises included), the guide, porters, local taxes and tips. For the starting point, Toronto is easy to reach from Montreal or Quebec City by plane or train, and the tour ends in Montreal, which makes the trip home simple.

Can you combine the tour with a stay at Club Med Québec Charlevoix?
