Club Med Palmiye at a glance

Club Med Palmiye is a large family resort on the south coast of Türkiye, 10 km from Kemer and 40 km from Antalya, backed by the Taurus Mountains. Across 18 hectares of fruit and flower gardens, it stretches along an 800-metre beach of pearl-grey sand. Its 722 rooms are split between the Villagio, lively and designed for families, and the Hotel, a calmer area. Children are welcome at any age, with clubs from 4 months to 17 years, and water sports, including waterskiing and wakeboarding, are at the heart of the stay. Open for the summer season, it is about 1 hour from Antalya airport, and the package includes meals, the bar and activities.

What is the Villagio and why do families love it?

The Villagio is the liveliest part of Club Med Palmiye: low buildings tucked into the gardens, among fruit trees and flower beds, with the kids' clubs, the family pool, the sports grounds and the evening entertainment a few steps away. Children move around safely on pedestrian paths, and parents keep everything within reach. On the other side of the site, the Hotel welcomes those looking for more calm, and everyone enjoys the whole resort.

From what age are children looked after?

From 4 months. Baby Club Med welcomes little ones from 4 to 23 months and Petit Club Med children aged 2 and 3, at extra cost and with limited spots. Mini Club Med then takes over from 4 to 10, followed by Club Med Teens from 11 to 13 and the Chill Pass from 14 to 17. The resort also offers the baby welcome service and a Family programme, so you can share some activities all together.

Which water sports are included at Club Med Palmiye?

It is one of Club Med's most complete resorts for the sea. Waterskiing and wakeboarding lessons are included, as are sailing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, including the giant SUP the whole family can share. On land, the flying trapeze is the pride of children and brave parents, and you can play tennis or padel or try archery. Parasailing, tubing and horseback riding are available at extra cost.

What is the beach like?

The beach stretches for 800 metres of pearl-grey sand, facing a turquoise sea with the Taurus Mountains as a backdrop. Its length leaves room for everyone, from sandcastles to waterskiing departures. Parents appreciate the adults-only Zen pool, on both the Villagio and Hotel sides, for an hour of reading while the children are at the club.

What is the food like at Club Med Palmiye?

Two main restaurants share the buffets. L'Olympus, in the heart of the Villagio, serves its buffets and grills in a family atmosphere. Le Phaselis, on the Hotel side, has a terrace facing the sea. Two speciality restaurants round out the choice: Le Bosphore, for Turkish cooking from pastirma to kebab, and Le Topkapi, by the water. For drinks, L'Efes, Lalezar, Le Turkuaz and the Snack Bar liven up the Villagio, and La Cave welcomes wine lovers.

When should you go to Club Med Palmiye and how do you get there from Quebec?

The resort opens for the summer season. For Quebec families, late June, July and August match the school holidays, while June and September offer a warm sea and a little more space. From Montreal, you fly with a connection to Antalya airport, and the transfer then takes about 1 hour along the coast. Your advisor gives you the exact 2027 season dates and chooses connections suited to children.

Which room should a family choose?

The Superior Villagio room, 25 to 60 m², sleeps one to five people: it is the family category, in the gardens, close to the clubs. On the Hotel side, the Superior room measures 26 to 45 m² for four, and the 70 m² Suite sleeps up to three. For a family of five, tell your advisor your children's ages: they check the exact layout and request a room close to the Mini Club.

Which excursions can you take around Kemer and Antalya?

The region is rich in ancient sites. At extra cost, the resort offers a cruise to Phaselis, a Lycian city whose ruins run down to the sea, Antalya's old town and harbour, or Myra and Kekova, with its sunken ruins seen from the boat. History lovers visit Perge, Aspendos and its Roman theatre, or Termessos, up in the mountains. The cable car, the 4x4 safari, Pamukkale and Istanbul complete the list.

Palmiye or Palmiye Hotel: what is the difference?

It is the same resort, with two atmospheres. When you book Club Med Palmiye, you usually stay in the Villagio, among families and the action. Club Med Palmiye Hotel refers to the Hotel area, calmer, with its Le Phaselis restaurant and sea view. Both areas share the beach, the sports and the speciality restaurants.
