A ship with no hull yet

Crystal Grace does not exist yet. Her first steel was cut at Fincantieri, in Marghera near Venice, in the week of 28 May 2026. Delivery is announced for May 2028 and entry into service for 11 June 2028. Around 62,000 gross tons, around 650 guests. She will be the first ship built from nothing since the Abercrombie & Kent group bought the brand at auction in 2022; the line's own page tells that story.

What is signed

Here is what is signed and checkable today. The maiden voyage runs Civitavecchia-Rome to Venice in nine days, on 11 June 2028. Nobu Matsuhisa, Massimiliano Alajmo and Riccardo Girardi sign the tables. The ship will carry the first owner's suite in the brand's history. Two sister ships are on order at the same yard, and the third was confirmed on 12 August 2026. Their delivery dates vary from one source to the next: we do not give them.

What is already selling

Departures are already on sale on this page, all in 2028, from 11 June to 5 November. Lengths run from seven to thirty-five days, the nine-day format coming up most often. Barcelona comes up most often, ahead of Civitavecchia-Rome, New York and Venice. A few autumn departures call at Québec City, including a twenty-seven-day Québec to Fort Lauderdale on 25 October. Booking two years ahead on a ship without a hull means accepting what that implies: plans change, dates slip, and nothing that follows has yet been seen by anyone.

What we will not write yet

What cannot yet be known, we do not write. We will describe neither the cabins nor the restaurants nor life aboard until the ship has sailed. If you want what this line does today, measurable and checkable, look at Crystal Serenity or Crystal Symphony: they sail, and their pages say what they are. If you are looking for Crystal Mahler, it has carried another name since 2023.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Her first steel was cut in the week of 28 May 2026 at Fincantieri, in Marghera near Venice. She has no assembled hull yet, and nobody has been aboard.
On 11 June 2028, with delivery announced for May of that year. Two years between a client's booking and boarding is a long time, and yard dates sometimes slip.
At Fincantieri, in Marghera, on the Venice lagoon. It is the same group that rebuilt Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony at Trieste after the 2022 bankruptcy.
Yes, the inaugural season is on sale. The departures on this page are all in 2028, from 11 June to 5 November.
Twenty-six, all in 2028. Lengths run from seven to thirty-five days, the nine-day format coming up most often. Barcelona comes up most often, ahead of Civitavecchia-Rome, New York and Venice.
Civitavecchia-Rome to Venice, nine days, departing 11 June 2028. It is the first departure sold on this page.
Yes, three autumn 2028 departures call at Québec City, including a twenty-seven-day Québec to Fort Lauderdale on 25 October. The season closes on 5 November 2028 between New York and Fort Lauderdale.
Around 650, for around 62,000 gross tons. Those are the yard's figures; they sometimes move between order and delivery.
The line has not published the inclusions specific to this ship. Its two current ships include gratuities, premium wines, spirits and beer, and a butler per suite. We do not promise it in advance for this one.
Plans change, delivery dates slip, itineraries get rewritten, and no guest has yet seen this ship. Have the cancellation and postponement terms explained before the deposit, and keep a written record of what you were promised.
Yes, two sisters are on order at the same yard and the third was confirmed on 12 August 2026. Their delivery dates vary from one source to the next, so we do not give them.
No, not until the ship has sailed. We know she will carry the brand's first owner's suite and that Nobu Matsuhisa, Massimiliano Alajmo and Riccardo Girardi sign the tables. The rest will wait to be seen.
Nobu Matsuhisa, Massimiliano Alajmo and Riccardo Girardi. The first already runs Umi Uma on both ships in service, since the 2017 refit.
It is a ship's largest category, the one an owner usually keeps for its own guests. This will be the first in the brand's history, which mostly says the ship aims higher than her elders.
